Short-term rentals still profitable but margins are dropping

In a recent article appeared in the Italian business daily “ILSOLE24ORE”, the returns of real estate investment in the short-term rentals went under scrutiny. Judging by the rising demand for this lodging solution, there would be no doubt that undergoing investment in this niche may be still interesting. AirBnb ended year 2018 with double-digit arrivals in main Italian hospitality markets, such as Rome (+ 19%), Milan and Venice (both + 18%) and Florence (+ 11%).
